Webinar: Making An Apartment Owner Sell To a Developer
Date: Wednesday 26 April 2017
Time: 10am - 11am
One of the most controversial parts of the new strata legislation is the section that enables a developer to purchase an entire strata apartment block even if this is opposed by up to 25% of owners in that block.
Presented by “Top 40” lawyer Mark Morgan, this free Member webinar will use a real life case study to explain how this legislation works in real life.
If you’re involved in strata, this is not to be missed!
Meet the Presenter
Mark Morgan
is a partner in Colin Biggers & Paisley, a major Australian law firm, and a passionate advocate of e-contracts.
In 2015, Mark played a pivotal role in launching his law firm's e-conveyancing service utilising the DocuSign platform, and over one thousand paperless contracts have now been entered into via this remarkable service.
Mark has appeared on Sky News, and has addressed numerous seminars and written many articles on the e-contract product. He has also represented all Australian REIs in a joint submission to the Commonwealth and all State and Territory Attorneys-General calling for reform of the national electronic transactions legislation scheme.
In the November 2016 edition of Australasian Lawyer magazine, Mark was named as one of the top 40 lawyers in Australia and NZ.
