Health and safety in the workplace has become an increasing issue for employers in all industries for some time. The Work Health and Safety Act (WHS) requires all employers to ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees at work and that of any other person at the workplace.
The complexity of WHS law and the business environment demands that the person responsible for administering the WHS function in an organisation understands what is required for the business to stay on the right side of the law.
