In recent years there has been an escalation of the responsibilities associated with your role as a property manager, and you are now expected to identify and manage risks in relation to a broad range of building and safety issues.
Ever wished that you had access to an expert tradesperson to help you navigate your way through this increasingly complicated world of safety?
REINSW Trainer Jo-Anne Hamilton sits down for a chat with Master Builders Association of NSW Qualifications Coordinator Dean Edser. In the first of this series of webinars, Jo-Anne and Dean will look at how property managers can manage the safety risks involved with swimming pools and decks and balconies.
What you’ll learn
This one-hour webinar will set out in layperson’s terms the requirements for swimming pool registration and pool fencing, and will provide you with tips about how to best guide your landlords through the process.
Some of the major risks relating to balconies and desks will also be covered, including how you can protect the safety of your tenants and the warning signs to look. You’ll also gain an understanding of the sort of experts you can call upon and the circumstances in which you might need them
