The NEW Contract for Sale - Toolbox Series


The Contract for the Sale of Land 2005 sets out the clear terms and conditions agreed upon between the buyer and seller. Knowing how to use the Contract is critical for every sales agent.


The latest revision of the Contract takes into account important changes to legislation and procedures since the last edition was published in 2005. The role of the buyers' agent, the importance of deposit bonds and the introduction of electronic conveyancing have all impacted the contents of this key document.

Meet the presenter


Tony Cahill was admitted as a solicitor in 1981 and has practised extensively in conveyancing, probate and commercial law. Since July 2002 he has concentrated on legal education and writing. He has been involved in redrafts of the Contract for Sale of Land since the 1992 edition and the Contract for the Sale of Business since the 2000 edition.


Tony is the co-author of Conveyancing Service New South Wales and Annotated Conveyancing and Real Property Legislation New South Wales, and is the General Advisor in the Property Law module of Practical Guidance.
