Retail security bonds will soon be able to be lodged digitally by real estate agents.

The Office of the NSW Small Business Commissioner (OSBC), which manages the Retail Security Bond Scheme, has developed a new digital service called WeAgree.

The OSBC will be sending invites to register for the new service on a progressive basis over the coming weeks. The OSBC are also providing online education and other initiatives to help agents understand the new service.

The current bond process will continue unchanged until further notice and agents should submit retail bond lodgement, claims and other forms as usual. Find the forms on the OSBC website by clicking  here.
