Leanne added: “Women often feel they are the only ones that lack confidence, but all of us go through that, and understanding that helps all of us.
“Women are naturally empathetic and that is such an important attribute when you are dealing with stressful times like buying and selling property.
“The main problems women face in the industry when competing with their male counterparts is self-belief. Women are every bit as capable of being high performing sales people as men, they just need to believe in themselves.”
Sherrie added that a third of attendees at the Sydney event were males, ‘which was really heart-warming and inspiring to see’.
She added: “Guests were thrilled by the number of practical tips they could put into practice from how to speak your own voice in management, to suburb hotspots and market insight.
“We also discussed the evolution of property management and how the role is being looked at as more of a profession, like a funds’ manager, rather than an administration employee.
“These events are important because they give women a voice who don’t often get the opportunity to share their skillsets and achievements. It also gives women inspiration and a chance to find an industry role model.”
