New strata laws now in effect - is your business compliant?

31 October 2025

Major changes under the Strata Schemes Legislation Amendment Act 2025 have taken effect this week, introducing significant new governance and compliance obligations for strata and community schemes. Further reforms will commence on 1 April 2026.

These reforms impact all strata managers, owners, building managers and strata committees - requiring careful review of your business processes, governance frameworks and management agreements to meet the new standards.
