On behalf of REINSW, Strata Management Chapter Committee member Wenna Wu and REINSW General Counsel Nicole Unger recently participated in the Strata Insurance Commissions Forum alongside more than 50 industry stakeholders. REINSW was invited to attend this consultation, organised by the NSW Government, which explored options to move away from strata managers receiving strata insurance commissions.
The NSW Fair Trading Commissioner is required to report to the Minister on this matter by the end of the year and, as part of this process, NSW Fair Trading has provided a communiqué to be shared, which is also available on their website.
