Every agent in NSW has a story to tell from their experiences with Fair Trading.

Fair Trading have:

- Failed to adequately protect consumers;
- Failed to investigate illegal and inappropriate behaviour perpetrated by the minority;
- Failed to support the industry; and
- Hindered and harassed hard working agents delivering a quality service to their clients.

We cannot work with a Government Department that does not understand our industry. The only solution, and it is the only solution, is to get out of Fair Trading and establish our own dedicated Commissioner for the Property Services Industry. 

We now have a real chance to do just that. Last year the Hon. Mark Banasiak, Member of the Legislative Council, introduced into Parliament The Real Estate Services Council Bill 2019. If this Bill gets through Parliament, we get out of Fair Trading, get our own Commissioner and get a genuine say in how our Industry is regulated.

We are all busy, however, the EAC and the REINSW have joined forces to give you this opportunity that is unlikely to present itself again - we have just one chance. We need to be strong, loud, proud and united.

Hear from The Hon. Mark Banasiak, Member of the Legislative Council, Mr Philip Donato, Member for Orange, Greg Toner, Chairman of EAC and Tim McKibbin, CEO of REINSW. They will inform you of the plan going forward and will listen to you and your experiences with Fair Trading.

Any agent who wants to stay with Fair Trading will also be given an opportunity to speak!
