The purpose of this course is to train real estate agents on the requirements of residential tenancy agreements to ensure that they are compliant with legislative requirements.
Licensees including other licence classes have a responsibility to ensure that their obligations are met to the Landlord and the tenant, but also communicating the obligations of tenants to proposed tenants prior to the signing of the tenancy agreement.
It is important that real estate agents understand what tools are available to help with compliance and which services are available to resolve ongoing disputes to tenancy agreements.
Further, this course outlines the Rules of Conduct and how these apply to each licence class holder.
