Presidential Appointments and Specialist Retail Valuers

The REINSW Valuers Chapter is the centre for experienced property valuation professionals. We uphold industry standards and facilitate dispute resolution through our Presidential Appointment service for general valuation matters.

Crucially, REINSW also maintains a list of Specialist Retail Valuers needed by government bodies to independently determine current market rent under the Retail Leases Act 1994 (Section 32B). 

Be recognised as a Specialist Retail Valuer in NSW

REINSW invites specialist retail valuers across NSW to join its official list of nominees for appointment. 

If you’re a qualified specialist retail valuer, register now to be included in our list of nominees so that you can be considered for appointment by the Register as a specialist retail valuer under the Retail Leases Act 1994 (Section 32B).

Request the President of REINSW to appoint an independent valuer to carry out a valuation

REINSW offers a Presidential Appointment service, which is a process where a request is made for the President of REINSW to appoint an independent valuer to carry out a valuation in a matter referred to it. REINSW is regularly requested to make these appointments, and we are always looking for valuers to appoint.
