HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2019

NOT JUST A COMPETITION!

The NAC has been the catalyst for many great auctioneer’s careers, including Damien Cooley, Edward Riley, Jesse Davidson and Ricky Briggs.

The Real Estate Institute's Novice Auctioneer competition has been the absolute pinnacle to my auctioneering career. Coming from a small country town on the outskirts of Newcastle, I received recognition from the Central Coast divisional competition which lead me to a position with Australia's best and largest auction house in Sydney and in turn has allowed me to continue to pave the way for a very successful future. If its ever a thought, jump in and do it... you just do not know where it will take you.”Ricky Briggs

As a competitor I felt there was no better platform to launch my career than the REINSW Novice Auctioneering competition. It gave me the foundations and the confidence required to go on and succeed in a career as a full-time auctioneer.  As a business owner I am continuously looking at Novice Auctioneering prospects for business growth. This competition brings together the best and allows them to compete amongst their peers for this coveted prize". Jesse Davidson

I competed in the NAC in 2012 winning the Parramatta & Hills Division heat and progressing to the state final. Competing at the NAC gave me an opportunity to showcase my skills in front of the leading agents and auctioneering companies in NSW and ultimately landed me an opportunity to become a Professional Auctioneer. Since then I have gone on to win the REINSW Award for Excellence Auctioneer competition and competed in the Final of the Australasian Auctioneering Championships. The NAC was definitely the launch pad for my Auctioneering career.”
