All licensed agents who are attending WIRE will satisfy their requirement to complete three hours of elective CPD topics in the CURRENT CPD year from 23 March 2022 to 23 March 2023.

If you are a Class 1 or Class 2 licensed real estate agent attending WIRE 2023 you will earn three Elective CPD hours. (Assistant Agents, e.g./ Certificate holders, can only gain their annual CPD by completing a minimum of three units of the Certificate IV course. The Hon Julie Bishop is the Chancellor of Australian National University.

Ms Bishop served as Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2013 until 2018 and was Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party from 2007 to 2018. She has also served as Minister for Education, Science and training, Minister for Women’s Issues and Minister for Ageing.

Prior to entering politics, Ms Bishop was Managing Partner of the national law firm Clayton Utz in Perth. In 2020 Julie was awarded a Fisher Family Fellowship at Harvard University and in 2021 she was awarded the Kissinger Fellowship at the McCain Institute. In 2022 Ms Bishop was awarded the Sir Edward “Weary” Dunlop AsiaLink Medal.
 
Julie is Chair of Telethon Kids Institute, Chair of Prince’s Trust Australia, member of the international advisory boards of Afiniti, Human Immunome Project and the Global Board of Advisors of the Council on Foreign Relations. She is also the Patron of Shooting Stars (an education programme for young aboriginal girls) and an ambassador for Football Australia’s Legacy ’23 in the lead up to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.

She has also established a boutique consultancy, Julie Bishop and Partners, offering strategic advisory services. 

Jana Pittman

She's a two-time World Champion and four-time Commonwealth Champion in athletics, and when injuries hampered her athletic career, she swapped the track for the ice and became the first woman to represent Australia in both a Summer and Winter Olympic games. Off the track, she has completed a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Western Sydney and is a practising Doctor specialising in Women's Health. In 2021 she joined the cast of Channel 7's popular reality program SAS Australia making it to the final five.
