The REINSW members appearing on this list have advised REINSW that they meet the requirements of the definition of a "specialist retail valuer" as set out in s 3 of the Retail Leases Act 1994.Click here to download the Specialist Retail Valuers list The Valuers Chapter Committee is currently addressing the following issues:
- access to, and the accuracy of, property sales data; and
- exposure to, and cost of, litigation.
The REINSW held two forums for the Valuers Chapter in 2009, which were held on 17 March and 15 September. These provided a valuable opportunity for members to network with their peers and hear about topics such as:
- A review of the 2008 General Valuation
- The history, structure and operation of the Retail Leases Division of the ADT
- The selection and appointment of valuers by the ADT in retail lease disputes
- Proceedings in the ADT
- Business valuations
- Electronic resources available from LPI for valuers, and upcoming developments.
