With more than 40 years experience, Tim Anderson is well known throughout the industry as the person to contact when in need of information on property management and CTTT matters.
A long-standing member of REINSW, Tim is also a Life Fellow. He has held positions on a number of REINSW committees over the years and currently sits on the Property Management Chapter Committee, having also served as chair. Tim was awarded the Woodrow Weight Award in 1999 for outstanding real estate agency practice.
Throughout his career, Tim has actively promoted professionalism and integrity in the industry and has applied these attributes to all his activities. |

Peter Berney has over 25 years' experience in the strata industry, and with over 55,000 reports completed he is an expert in this field. He is a regular speaker at major strata events, conferences, functions and seminars in all eastern states and is a member of relevant industry bodies.
Since the introduction of NSW sinking fund plan legislation, Peter has given countless training seminars with strata managers on topics such as sinking fund plans, OH&S, insurance valuations, fire safety and asbestos obligations.
Peter believes that further education will better serve unit owners/occupiers in understanding and enjoying the benefits of community style living. His passion to convey this information takes him far and wide, visiting strata managers and discussion current issues in the industry. |

Miles Felstead has conducted a specialist property management business in Mosman since 1976. He is also a registered valuer and a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.
Miles has been a member of REINSW since 1977, and is Fellow of REINSW and recipient of the 1997 REINSW Service Award. He has served on the REINSW Property Management Chapter Committee for 25 years, holding the position of Chair from 1989 to 1991.
Miles is a regular speaker at REINSW Property Management forums, using these forums as an opportunity to pass on his wealth of knowledge to his property management colleagues and peers. |

Annette Ferrari has been a popular member of the REINSW training team for more than 10 years, and has worked in the real estate industry as an agency Principal and sales specialist for almost 20 years. She is a highly qualified trainer, with a Masters in Behavioural Science, a Bachelor of Arts (Communications Studies), and a Bachelor of Adult Education.

Steve Grant has undertaken cost planning duties on many major projects and has gained extensive experience in housing for the aged and handicapped, public buildings, schools, retail, commercial and industrial buildings. His experience in predicting the end cost of projects at the earliest possible date has greatly aided the clients he has advised.
Steve formed Grant Constructions in 1990 and in 1999 BRW named it the 10th fastest growing company in the country. The company went on to win many business and construction awards, including the first builder to be awarded prizes in the Master Builders Excellence in Construction Awards for 10 consecutive years.
Steve sold Grant Constructions in 2004 with the aim of focusing his time on other interests, including property development through companies Capital Corporation, Cencorp Property Group, Eden Brae Homes and Grant Rural Industries. These groups hold an investment portfolio in excess of $250 million and have a development pipeline in excess of $1 billion. |

Rod Kafer has had an outstanding rugby career. He played 12 Tests for Australia, including the 1999 World Cup campaign, and is the only player in the world to have played in teams winning the Rugby World Cup, Tri-Nations, Super 12 and Heineken Cup.
Rod currently serves as President of the Rugby Union Players Association – a position he has held for six years. He was formerly the General Manager of Direct Connect, a utility connection service used by more a 2,500 real estate agents nationally, and is the founder and Managing Director of Totalcom, a telecommunications service provider supplying personalised telco services to small business.
Rod also works as part of the Fox Sports commentary team. |

Isis specialises in the areas of property investment, financial monitoring and accounting. She is currently the Principal of Australian Property Masters, a firm of real estate investment agents specialising in researching, sourcing, analysing and coordinating the funding and management of property investments to maximize overall return for the least amount of risk.
Isis developed and wrote the popular ‘Property Investment Analysis’ course, and presents the course on a regular basis. Her breadth of knowledge in her areas of expertise is appreciated by her students, as is her relaxed and approachable presentation style. |

Ian McKnight graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Laws degree in 1973 and 1983 respectively. He was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 1975.
He has practised in the strata law area since 1984 and is the author of Strata Law and Practice in New South Wales Court Forms and Precedents. He has written extensively in the area of strata law. In addition, Ian has been the director of a corporate strata management agency and holds a strata managing agents licence. |

Robin Mellon is the Green Building Council of Australia's Green Star Executive Director, supervising the Green Star team in the development and operation of rating tools and the certification of Green Star projects.
After studying Valuation and Estate Management, he worked within the property sector around London specialising in heritage property and the environment. Always a passionate gardener, he then worked with a London-based landscape designer before moving to Sydney to undertake a Masters in Real Estate at UNSW, concentrating on sustainable development.
Robin is currently steering the introduction of rating tools for existing commercial office buildings, multi-unit residential, healthcare and industrial property. He teaches the Green Star Accredited Professional courses held around Australia, represents GBCA on sustainability committees, and regularly presents at conferences in Australia and abroad to encourage the industry toward better practice. |

Peter Ozerskis’s real estate careers spans 19 years. He is a licensed real estate agent, stock and station agent, and business agent. In addition, he is an accredited auctioneer. Peter successfully runs two real estate agencies on the South Coast of NSW and has been a longstanding member of REINSW.

Steve Pearce is a Chief Superintendent with the NSW Fire Brigades. He has been a firefighter for the past 23 years, having been stationed as a firefighter and officer in a myriad of locations throughout NSW.
Steve has attended and managed some of NSW's largest incidents, including major explosions, floods, storms, rescues and hazmat incidents.
His current position is Assistant Director Community Risk, and he is charged with managing various business units designed to increase the resilience and capacity of communities and businesses in relation to emergency incidents. He is regularly called upon to present to business and community groups in relation to community engagement, preparedness and prevention - a business area that is critical to the NSWFB service delivery model.

David Pentecost is REINSW's Compliance Auditor and has worked in the real estate industry for almost 30 years.
David's career in real estate has seen him work in roles as diverse as at the Australian Embassy in Vienna and as a manager of the Salvation Army property portfolio. It was during his time working for a hospital trust that looked after property developments such as day surgeries and nursing homes however that he honed his skills in compliance and understanding complicated legislation.
Since joining REINSW, David has been responsible for the development of the REINSW Compliance Review Service and has visited hundreds of offices around NSW, helping agents comply with the Property, Stock and Business Agents Act and the Regulation. His practical, easy-to-understand presentation style receives rave reviews wherever he goes. |

Richard Phillipps has a genuine enthusiasm for strata law, which he finds intriguing and enjoyable. Before joining JS Mueller and Co, he was a senior member of the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal for five years, and before that he was a part-time member of the predecessor to the CTTT - the Residential Tribunal. In that time he dealt with many strata, residential tenancy and home building cases.
In addition to his strata and home building expertise, Richard has had broad experience in many areas of law, including media law, migration law and general commercial law. He has practised as a barrister and as a solicitor, and he has lectured in a number of university courses. |

Nick Vrabac has been the Deputy Chairperson (Determinations) at the CTTT since February 2002.
He has had extensive experience as a legal practitioner in both the private and public sectors. The position of Deputy Chairperson (Determinations) is responsible for the CTTT's adjudication function and assists the Chairperson in the management of the membership.
Nick provides specialist advice regarding how to prepare tenancy cases, and gives tips about how to develop a case as an applicant and a respondent to ensure the best outcomes. |

Philip Western was appointed Valuer General in September 2003. He is the principal advisor to the NSW Government on valuation issues, and his responsibilities include the regulatory functions relating to statutory land valuations, professional conduct and ensuring the integrity of the valuation system and processes.
Philip has been responsible for some significant enhancements to the NSW valuation system in a drive to improve the accuracy and consistency of land values, and to provide more transparency.
In 2003, Philip was made a Fellow of the NSW division of the Australian Institute of Valuers. He is currently a member of the CPD and Education Committees for the division and has served on a number of sub-committees. |

Megan Wilson is a licensed real estate agent who has specialised in property management for the last 13 years.
Throughout the course of her career, Megan has always recognised the importance of continuing training and development – attending regular real estate workshops to increase her knowledge and networking contacts.
It was her interest in the training side of real estate that led her to become a property management trainer. It was during a CPD workshop that Megan met another trainer from REINSW who helped her to achieve her dream.
