The regulatory and licensing body for real estate agents in New South Wales is the Office of Fair Trading.
If you wish to lodge a complaint regarding an agent, or seek compensation for loss or damage, it is important that you obtain your own legal advice as to your rights and appropriate legal action, and/or contact the Office of Fair Trading at www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au.
REINSW no longer offers a complaints resolution service regarding member agents to the general public.
