You must meet certain criteria in order to eligible to enrol in this course.
All participants need to have completed CPD workshops for renewal 1 and 2 (these can be completed for an additional fee). All participants must also have:
- held a current Certificate of Registration in NSW (or equivalent in other states/territories) for a minimum of 2 years; OR
- held a current licence in another category for a minimum for 12 months; OR
- held a licence for more than 3 years which has lapsed in the past 3 years; OR
- had 5 years' experience in the property industry with a relevant qualification not listed above (e.g. Diploma in Business (Property), property economics, etc).
REINSW will ask you to provide specific evidence of your experiences and apply it to the full REINSW Licensing Course.
The more relevant evidence you supply, the less coursework you will need to complete - some agents may not have to complete any coursework at all!
Following registration, REINSW will send you checklist of evidence you are required to submit. You will then need to send all your evidence to REINSW where a trainer will assess your documentation and you will be advised of what units have been made exempt and what units you will need to complete.

Any outstanding units where exemption is not granted are completed online through REINSW's eLearning system at no extra cost.
There are no short cuts or short courses, but simply a process of recognising your prior learning and experience - you have acquired it, why not use it?
