The Compliance Review Service is designed to highlight problems in an agency’s procedures which may result in lost commission or leave an agency open to fines from the Office of Fair Trading for non-compliance with applicable legislation. The OFT Supervision Guidelines set out in detail what is required of a Licensee-in-Charge in relation to the supervision of employees, and the establishment and monitoring of compliance problems. REINSW has developed a number of checklists to assist licensees and their staff comply.
The OFT Advertising Guidelines apply to all licensed agents. They are intended to assist agents in publishing acceptable photographic advertisements which convey accurate information and leave the buyer with the ‘right impression’.
