What are CPD courses for real estate agents?
A: CPD courses (Continuing Professional Development) are structured learning sessions designed to ensure licensed real estate agents stay up-to-date with industry regulations, professional standards, and emerging practices. They are mandatory to maintain your real estate licence in NSW.

Who needs to complete CPD courses?
A: All licensed real estate agents in NSW must complete the required CPD courses annuallywhich include the requried topics and hours as set by NSW Fair Trading to remain compliant with licensing requirements.

How many CPD hours do I need each year?
A: CPD Requirements and topics change each year. Please refer to the current Real Estate CPD Requirements.

Can I complete my CPD courses online?
A: Yes, Online Via Zoom or (Intreactive Webinar) many CPD courses are available online VIA Zoom. However, some compulsory topics may require attendance in face-to-face sessions. REINSW provides options for both online via Zoom and in-person CPD. 

What course should I study to maintain my real estate licence?
A: Licensed agents should enrol in annual CPD courses, covering compulsory topics. REINSW offers a full suite of CPD courses for all licence types and specialities.

How do I enrol in a CPD course with REINSW?
A: You can enrol directly through the REINSW website by selecting your preferred CPD course, choosing your learning format (Online via Zoom or face-to-face), and following the registration process.

Q8: What happens if I do not complete my CPD courses?
A: Failing to complete the required CPD courses may result in non-compliance with licensing obligations, which could prevent you from legally practising as a real estate agent in NSW.
