The 2010 REINSW Awards for Excellence have been announced at the industry’s ‘Night of Nights’ in Sydney.
The hotly contested Awards have seen the cream of the real estate industry from across New South Wales recognised for their innovation, skill and expertise.
“The calibre of competition at this year’s awards has been incredibly high,” said REINSW President Wayne Stewart.
“Firstly I would like to thank all the entrants for this year’s Awards and that they should be proud to have been recognised at this very high level.
“I would like to highlight two Award winners.
“Sandra McGee of Starr Partners, Merrylands, has won the REINSW’s highest accolade which is the Woodrow Weight Award.
“Woodrow Weight OBE was a legend in the real estate industry who befriended and encouraged generations of agents and showed leadership in his lifelong dedication to the betterment of our industry. Sandra is a fitting recipient and I congratulate her on this great achievement.
“And exemplifying the commitment and dedication which underpins our industry, Hugh Bateman has been awarded the Centenary Award.
“All our winners exemplify the highest levels of service, standard and innovation which continue to drive the real estate industry in New South Wales from strength to strength.
“Importantly, these agents have all achieved enormously against a backdrop of an economy emerging from the shadows of the global financial crisis and difficult domestic circumstances including high taxation regimes imposed by all levels of government.
“REINSW is incredibly proud to have representatives of this high standard working in the community and I congratulate all our winners,” said Mr. Stewart.
