REINSW kicks off its 2019 Roadshow for property professionals

The REINSW Roadshow 2019 kicked off on 2 May. This annual event sees renowned real estate heads tour 18 NSW locations to present a four-hour information and networking event for property professionals in each local area.

This year’s roadshow will focus on giving attendees an insight into being relevant in a changing market and the future of real estate. Agents will learn about valid agency agreements to protect commission, effective cause of sale, and explore best practices regarding underquoting and price revisions. Property managers can learn about the significant changes around the Residential Tenancies Amendment (Review) Act 2018 and the Circumstances of Domestic Violence Regulation 2018 in force from February this year.

Speakers include REINSW President Leanne Pilkington and CEO Tim McKibbin, as well as marketing and branding specialists, Imogen Ball and Tara Christianson. The event will feature specialist sessions to suit sales agents and property managers.

In previous years, the Roadshow has discussed training reforms, Residential Tenancies Act review, NSW Fair Trading audits, and more. It has featured speakers from NSW Fair Trading, the Real Estate Employers’ Federation, realestate.com.au, and the Office of the NSW Small Business Commissioner.

Leanne Pilkington says the Roadshow is an effective way to convey important changes in the industry and for real estate professionals to understand them. “Whether you are in sales, property management or a licensee-in-charge, our Roadshow sessions provide the facts about what lies ahead in our industry. It helps to know how to stay relevant in the ever-changing market and the sessions aim to equip real estate professionals with the knowledge of future opportunities in this industry.”

Tickets are on sale now starting at $196 for REINSW members and $245 for non-members and can be purchased here.
