If you need to complete additional units in order to achieve the qualification for your licence, then RPL is the simplest way to achieve these. RPL can be completed online from start to finish.
Our streamlined 3-step recognition process makes RPL straightforward and affordable.
Step 1 - Self-Assessment Questionnaire
Tell us about your skills, knowledge and experience. This tool will guide you through the steps to complete your self-assessment questionnaire. Complete the multiple-choice questions and describe your experience in your own words.
Step 2 - Review and Competency Conversation
An REINSW assessor will review your self-assessment information to consider your eligibility for RPL. A competency conversation will be arranged to give you an opportunity to expand on your skills and knowledge and for the assessor to ask questions to verify your knowledge and experience. You will also be asked to provide supporting documentation and a third-party report from your supervisor or licensed agent to confirm your work history and competence.
Step 3 - Recognition
If you need to complete any gap training or assessment, you can complete this via eLearning or in the classroom if you prefer. On successful completion of all gap learning and assessment, a statement of attainment will be issued.
