In this free Member webinar, three experienced real estate professionals will discuss key changes to the Building Code of Australia and the Strata Schemes Managing Act 2015, which owners’ corporations need to comply with by 13 March 2018. The new legislation is being brought in by the NSW Government to help prevent children falling from windows.
This webinar will cover the key changes, specifically focusing on:
- What the Act says and means
- How you can work with it in practice
- Who is responsible for ensuring windows meet requirements
- How you can ensure you are compliant with the new changes.
Meet the presenters
Shane Foley is the Director of BIV Reports Pty Limited. Shane’s 20-year property career includes experience as a property manager for a busy inner city real estate office with a portfolio of approximately 350 properties, office manager for the property management department and a successful salesperson in the competitive eastern suburbs of Sydney until 2007, at which time he established BIV Reports Pty Limited.
Shane is qualified as a registered valuer, licensed auctioneer and licensed strata agent.
Sandra Hodgkins is General Manager of NNW Property and with over 37 years’ experience in the real estate industry she has a passion for empowering staff to implement our excellence in service philosophy.
