Traineeships

Employees can gain practical experience while completing a formal real estate qualification.

The real estate industry is embracing traineeships as agencies discover the value of on-the-job learning and trainees seeking to build a career through a hands-on education. In fact, REINSW’s Traineeships Program has grown in recent years and now has approximately 80 trainees actively working across the state.

According to REINSW Training Manager Nerida Wood, interest in traineeships is on the rise.
“The high level of support offered by REINSW is a key element in their rising popularity, as are the financial incentives offered by the Federal Government,” she said.

“Traineeships help to promote employee loyalty and are proven to increase workplace productivity.”
REINSW provides all the required learning resources and each trainee has a dedicated person at the Institute who is on hand to offer support and monitor progress every step of the way.

“This means that any issues that arise can be resolved quickly,” Nerida said. “Workplace visits, which take place two or three times a year, are also a key component of the program and contribute to the success of our trainees.”

Embrace the opportunity and talk to REINSW about how employing a trainee can benefit your business.
