With mould being a key reason for tenants breaking their leases, it’s critical that property managers understand what causes mould, how to prevent it and what to do if a tenant notifies you of mould in a property.

To help you better manage tenant fears and expectations about mould and protect your landlords’ investments, join Stephen Burke, Director and Senior Mould Inspector at Mould Removal Australia, Michelle McLean, Senior Property Manager at LeahJay and Property Management Chapter Committee Chair, and Chris Carey REINSW Committee executive as they help property managers across New South Wales manage mould in residential property.

Topics include:
  • What are the facts: what is mould and where did it come from?
  • How can you prevent mould?
  • Can you test for mould?
  • Do dehumidifiers help?
  • How do you clean up and remove mould?
  • Is there any news on the Government Inquiry since the REINSW mould webinar in May 2019?
  • What is it about the 2020 climate that could make things better or worse for property managers?
