Meet the presenters
Jesse Davidson. Jesse is a senior auctioneer with auctionWORKS. Upon completing his Bachelor in Business early in 2009, Jesse accepted a position with auctionWORKS. Soon after Jesse entered and won the REINSW’s Novice Auctioneering Competition in 2010.
More recently he won the 2015 REINSW Awards for Excellence in Auctioneering and was a finalist in the 2016 event.
Jesse was also part of the NSW winning team in the recently-held State of Origin Auctioneering Competition, beating Queensland, and is the current Chairperson of the REINSW’s Auctioneers Chapter committee.
Damien Cooley. Damien won the first REINSW Novice Auctioneers Competition in 2000. After gaining experience as an auctioneer, Damien started his own company, Cooley Auctions, in 2003.
He is a multiple award winner including Auctioneer of the Year at the Real Estate Business Awards (2013 and 2015), as well as three REINSW Awards for Excellence (Auctioneering Award in 2008 and 2010, and the John Greig OAM Community Service Award in 2013).
Since 2015 Damien has been a member of the REINSW Board. He also is a passionate supporter of the Youth Off The Streets (YOTS) Charity, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars via the Cooley Classic golf tournament and, more recently, the Real Estate Sleep Out. He is a member of the YOTS Development Committee.
Damien’s experience extends to reality television where he has performed the winning auction on The Block five times and is the most booked auctioneer on the show making his ninth appearance in 2015. He has also performed auctions on other reality TV series, including The Renovators, Under the Hammer, Hot Auctions and Selling Houses Australia.
