Remuneration by way of “commission-only” is tightly controlled and regulated through the industrial award applicable to the real estate industry as well as the National Employment Standards. However, in 2016 commission-only employment is very much under the industrial microscope and its very survival is under threat.
This webinar will examine the current state of play and, importantly, consider what the future may hold for this unusual yet popular employment arrangement. The webinar will assist agencies get it right when setting up and managing commission-only employment arrangements. It will of course examine the qualifications that must be satisfied for a real estate salesperson to be engaged on a commission-only employment as well examining the benefits and pitfalls of this type of employment.
