Webinar: Risk Mitigation for Property Managers

Time:  10.00am - 10.30am
Cost: FREE

Property Managers are not safety and property experts, and shouldn't have to be. However, the current legislation positions Property Managers in the "firing line", where they can be held liable for many issues that are outside of their normal expertise and knowledge areas - including injuries to tenants in rented properties.

In this webinar you will hear from REINSW major partner PropertySafe. They will be highlighting some effective strategies to manage this liability through landlord education, outsourced safety reporting and workflow efficiency software.

This educational session will include a live example of the effective capturing, documenting, fast processing, reporting and auditing of a tenant-reported safety hazard, via PropertySafe's Maintenance Manager system.

Attendees will leave the session with a clearer idea of what they can do to manage their liability and risks, and how Maintenance Manager could help them to do this efficiently and effectively.

PropertySafe and REINSW have together produced a Position Statement titled "Safety and Risk Identification in rental properties" which you can download by clicking here.
