How commercial agents and lawyers can work best together
Commercial agents handle many complex leasing arrangements with powerful tenants and equally powerful landlords. It is vital that the commercial lease is well constructed and detailed. To achieve this a commercial agent needs to have a strong relationship with their property lawyer, and a clear understanding of their respective roles and responsibilities.
In this webinar two of the most experienced professionals in the commercial property industry explain how best to work together to develop an effective commercial lease that covers off the common issues, make good obligations, rent reviews, and renewals. They will also outline some of the main points to work on in a sales contract.

Gary Newton is a partner with Tresscox, a leading law firm in Australia. Gary has been practising in the area of property law for over 30 years. He is the author of several property law books and services including the widely-used LexisNexis Butterworths NSW Conveyancing Service (loose-leaf).
