Industrial D-Day – A new ear for the real estate industry
Hear from the Real Estate Employers’ Federation about what lies ahead in the industrial relations space.

In 2014, real estate employers braced themselves for the dawn of a new industrial era. One year on and D-Day is here!

A union application has been filed with the Fair Work Commission requesting a complete overhaul of the employment flexibilities enjoyed by industry for decades. Significant pay increases for all employees, weekend penalty rates, no debit-credit and expansion of post-employment commission entitlements for the basis of the union’s application. Every real estate business will be affected if the union application is approved in whole or in part.

Essential information about the union’s reform agenda will be revealed at this session. Input into REEF’s defence to the claim will also be sought.

Difficulties in relation to commission-only employment will also be discussed. The rules are changing and it is critical that employers understand the impact of the changes.

If you are a Principal, you can’t afford to miss this session.
