See you name up in lights at this year's Awards

8 May 2014

It’s that time of year again when REINSW showcases our industry’s top performers and 2014 is set to be bigger and better than ever before.

With entries now open for the 2014 REINSW Awards for Excellence, property professionals across NSW are set to compete for top honours across 21 categories.

“The Awards for Excellence has a long and admired history of celebrating what is so outstanding about our industry,” REINSW CEO Tim McKibbin said.

“The level of engagement we have received over recent years underlines the esteem in which the Awards are held and I believe that 2014 will see this grow even further.”

As the profession continues to grow and evolve so too does the Awards for Excellence program, explained Mr McKibbin.

“A lot of work has gone into reviewing the Awards for Excellence program over the past 12 months. We’ve listened to feedback from agents and have made changes to ensure the program is more robust, more transparent and more relevant to the profession,” he said.

“One important change this year is that more agents than ever before are eligible to enter. As long as you work for a member agency, then you are eligible to enter.

“This means winning an Award for Excellence really means you are the best of the best!”

Winning makes a real difference

Director and Principal of Hart Estate Agents, Alex Hart, recognises the positive impact winning an Award for Excellence can have on a business.

“Winning the Real Estate Agency – Small Award [in 2013] reinforced our brand positioning and has been an effective point of difference in both our general marketing and new business proposals,” Mr Hart said.

“It has certainly been noticed and commented on by many existing and new clients. The Award has also been fantastic for team morale.”

Winner of the 2013 Real Estate Agency – Large Award Ewan Morton, Managing Director of Morton & Morton, agrees.

“Winning such a prestigious award is a true motivator for our team. It provides recognition of all the hard work they have done, but also pushes us to remain at the forefront of the industry,” Mr Morton said.

"The Awards provide us a motivator to ensure each year sees concrete improvements in our business, service, operations and thinking."

propertybuyer Managing Director Rich Harvey said winning the Buyers’ Agent category in 2013 has given him a renewed confidence that he and his team are delivering a top class service.

“It’s a great motivational boost to win an award and it sets you apart as an agent that strives for excellence,” Mr Harvey said.

Entries close on Thursday, 12 June 2014 at 5.00pm.
