• The urgent and important matrix. All activities can be placed somewhere in the urgent and important matrix.  Use this matrix to determine what activities should be given the highest priority, and which are mere interruptions that should be avoided.
• SMART goals. Learn how to identify and set appropriate goals for yourself using the SMART method (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timed).
