New Sydney landmark
Released 13 January 2011

Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore MP officially opened Stockland’s new inner-city apartment development, The Hyde, in December 2010.

Located at 157 Liverpool Street opposite Hyde Park, the 34-level, 131-apartment building is the tallest BASIX-compliant building in NSW.

“This development aims to achieve sustainability targets we want to see in all future development,” said Lord Mayor Clover Moore MP at the opening ceremony. “It highlights that good development and growth can be achieved when the City, the Central Sydney Planning Committee and developers work together.

“Quality is what we must be about in Sydney if we are to continue as Australia’s global city.”

The Hyde is almost sold out with only a handful of three-bedroom apartments left for sale, priced from $2.1 million.
