Risk in agency comes in many forms and the understanding of how and why risks occur in the workplace is the basis for ensuring that risks are well managed.  Risk management includes having an understanding of legislation and how it applies to your work to how the actions of the people within the organisation can contribute to risk situations. Developing teams and individuals can lead to successfully minimising risk to agency and consumers.

When you successfully complete this cluster, along with the in and out of class assessments, you will gain a Statement of Attainment for the four units of competency stated below.
 
  • CPPDSM4009B Interpret legislation to complete agency work
  • CPPDSM4002A Apply knowledge of state and territory legislative and regulatory framework to complete agency work
  • BSBLED401 Develop teams and individuals
  • CPPDSM4015B Minimise agency and consumer risk

 

Prerequisites

Prior to attending this cluster, you must complete a certificate of registration course.
