Boost your wellness and wellbeing

Working in the real estate industry can be stressful, but there are ways you can improve your wellness and wellbeing according to elite coach Jet Xavier.

Jet has created REVIVE 2018, the only wellness and wellbeing event for the real estate industry.

It aims to help agents, principals, BDM’s and property managers create better work life integration, boost energy levels, manage stress and pressure, master mindsets and improve overall levels of wellness and wellbeing.

Jet said: “This movement is very important because there has been a shift in the industry towards an increased focus on employee wellness and wellbeing because it improves productivity, happiness levels, relationships and the health of the industry’s most precious asset which is its people.”

He added that there are three simple ways you can improve your wellness and wellbeing:

1. Become aware of your own wellness and wellbeing

It starts with you and a conscious awareness of the areas you might need to improve in. It might be your health or your emotional wellbeing or mental health. Having an awareness of the issue allows you to start the process of change.

2. Put yourself first

This is one of the most important things in improving wellness and wellbeing. We always put other people first at the expense of ourselves. However, taking care of ourselves first allows us to take care of others better and is more beneficial in the long run.

3. Find support, ask for help and reach out to others if you need to

Its ok to not be ok sometimes, so surround yourself with supportive people who are interested in you being at your best and having high levels of wellness and wellbeing.
