The Law Society of NSW and REINSW are recommending that the new 2016 edition of Contract for Sale and Purchase of Land is used from now on.
The new version replaces the 2005 and 2014 editions and highlights new laws such as the new withholding foreign tax regime which was brought in on 1 July 2016, and the swimming pool compliance changes from April 2016.
The new 2016 edition of the Contract is not available as a paper copy, but can be purchased in digital form by visiting the ECOS website.
