NCAT change services in St George and Sutherland area

3 December 2014
The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) has changed the way it delivers its service to agents in the St George and Sutherland area after closing the Hurstville registry on Friday, 28 November 2014.

From 1 December 2014, regular NCAT sittings will be relocated from Hurstville to NCAT's Sydney and Liverpool registries or the Kogarah and Sutherland Local Court, depending on the postcode of the property in question.

The Tribunal sits five days per week in Sydney and four days per week in Liverpool. The Kogarah Local Court will sit two days a week for formal hearings and two days a week at Sutherland Local Court.

Parties who had matters adjourned at recent Hurstville hearings will be sent written notification of the change. They will also be advised about their new hearing location, which will be based on the postcode of the property in question. Matters will continue to be dealt with as close as possible to the location of the dispute.

NCAT clients will continue to have access to a range of services through the Hurstville Service NSW premises, which is located on the ground floor of the same building currently occupied by NCAT.

REINSW encourages members to utilise the online NCAT lodgement facility via the website www.ncat.nsw.gov.au
