Hidden potential can reap rewards

There are many different types of homebuyers, and understanding this can help sellers maximize their sale price.

Most property buyers simply focus on what the house looks like now, while a smaller minority look at the potential and what it could look like in the future.

To help appeal to the smaller minority, an agent may suggest employing an interior designer or stylist. Agents may also suggest some small improvements which can help add more to your property.

A property’s hidden potential once found and enhanced enables buyers to see the property at its best, and demonstrate to the purchaser the potential of the home.

So the next time you’re looking to sell your home, look at the bigger picture and look with buyers' eyes.
