Balancing the scales with a buyers' agent

Buying a property as a home or investment is one of the biggest and most complex transactions most people will ever undertake.

In most situations which involve securing our financial future we work with a professional advisor who will represent our best interests. This is what people selling their house do by engaging a real estate agent to ensure the best price.

Yet interestingly very few do this when buying a house by engaging a buyers’ agent. As a result you often get an inexperienced buyer coming up against a seasoned selling agent who negotiates for a living and the scales aren’t balanced.

That’s why I would always recommend engaging a buyers’ agents to help balance the scales and give the buyer access to the best market information and access to off-market properties.
